I am a retired professor of biology. While I was an active scientist, I studied a variety of problems in the physiology and biophysics of adaptation and evolution. If you like, you can see more about that part of my life at my personal web site, jscottturner.com.
Later in my career, I took up video production, primarily to produce media for my courses. My online courses in Animal Physiology, Physics of Life, Heterodox Evolution, and Biophysical Field Methods are available now at udemy.com. Just search on my name or the course title to see the course or take it.
Since I retired, I have taken up video production, and rekindled an old interest in music composition. In addition to more documentary-style videos, I combine the two to produce videos to accompany my music.
Although I'm retired from academia, I remain engaged in the academic world. I am presently Director of Science Programs at the National Association of Scholars, where I am engaged in reforming an increasingly corrupt system of higher education and university-based scientific research.
