Evolution has long been an interest of mine. However, I have been led by my research into some pretty heterodox thinking about evolution. I've put together two online courses on evolution that lays out the elements and origins of these heterodox thoughts, which are informed by the question:
What does the science of how life works (physiology) have to say about the science of how life evolves?
It has quite a lot to say, actually.
Evolution: A heterodox view takes a deep dive into the history and philosophy of evolutionary thought. It outlines the basis for an alternative science of evolution that sits between gene selectionism on the one hand, and intelligent design on the other. The course is available on udemy.com. This playlist contains sample videos from the course.
The full course is available at udemy.com
Evolution: A heterodox primer consists of eight videos that outline the elements of a heterodox view of evolution.
