I have produced several documentary format videos, to highlight my work with increasing the visibility of Gobabeb Namib Research Institute, with local community groups, and with the National Association of Scholars.
The Gobabeb Namib Research Institute is one of science's best-kept secrets: a remote field institute embedded in one of the world's most interesting deserts - the Namib. I have a long-standing association with Gobabeb, and it's been the subject of several videos I've produced. Here's a sampler.
The National Association of Scholars is a higher-ed reform think tank, dedicated to defending the virtues of a liberal education, which are sorely lacking at present. When I retired as an Emeritus Professor of Biology, I joined the NAS as their Director of Science Programs.
